Film Production

The students of the digital film-making course and the documentary film-making workshop themselves make short feature and documentary films under the guidance of experienced teachers. Besides, the students get chance to be involved in Tanvir Mokammel’s professional film works. For example, thirty students of the Bangladesh Film Institute were involved in the shooting and post-production works of “Jibondhuli” (The Drummer), directed by Tanvir Mokammel, which was hugely beneficial for the students to gather practical experiences to learn how a professional film unit works. Besides Bangladesh Film Institute also produces films like the documentary “The Japanese Wife” (Japani Bodhu), which received appreciation home and abroad.
